Hello people.

Hi, my name is Brenda White, and I along with my husband we have 180Biz if you don't know us already.

I was in Tamsen's last round and am still in the last round of her membership launch coach. 

I can't tell you how much it helped us!

Among the four of us in my round of MLKoach, my membership was the first one to go if you know what I mean, the first one to launch. 

I was launching quickly so Tamsen jumped in with me and within three weeks had me ready to go, gave me all the resources that I needed, everything. You can't even think of everything that if you're launching a new membership that you need to make sure that you know. The I's that get dotted and the T's to get crossed.

We've launched memberships before but this was a new product/service to a really to a new audience. So it was like, starting from scratch.

I can tell you so many stories about Tamsen but I have one story in particular. 

Tamsen knows when each of us is launching and she makes sure that she's available. I mean, most of the time, your cart is going to open closed over a weekend and my cart was closing on a Sunday at noon and Tamsen said "I know you're launching, you know if you need anything let me know."

At one point I think it was the weekend before I went live or a couple of days before I went live with the launch - I ran into a snag. I ran into a problem, I didn't know what to do. So I messaged Tamsen. She was at the playground with her kids grabbed her laptop from her car and helped me solve the problem.

It was an integration issue with a completely different system (Zapier) and she helped me figure it out.

And another time towards the beginning of the launch period, I really had some complicated things that we needed to figure out, and Tamsen without hesitating - she hopped on Zoom with me, brought up the Whiteboard was probably on an hour to an hour and a half with me as we whiteboarded out a process and a system that was going to make sense for the launch and it is amazing. We are using it.

I can't say enough great things about it (MLkoach). I think it (MLKoach) was worth its weight in gold. 

It's not just the membership launch coach because it doesn't just get you to the launch. Tamsen works you through all of it ...

What do you do after the launch?

How do you make sure that you know, that they're (your new members) excited and you keep them excited?

How do you make sure that your thinking about retention?

You need to have a plan in place for all these things.

Anyway, this is a really long-winded way of saying, if you are launching new membership, even if you have an existing membership, this is an investment that you need to make.

It's just dumb not to do it because the return on this investment is huge. 

Tamsen was with us all the way through this launch. We had a goal, we hit our goal.

The biggest thing for us is we have a first-class trip to Africa and I'm not telling you that that to brag. I'm telling you because I was doing - HOLY CRAP! What do we do about this (trip)? How are we going to pay for this? And my husband said, "relax. The launch is going to pay for it."

Thanks to Tamsen this launch paid for it.

So I'm pretty excited. It not only is paying for Africa in the first month. It's also paying for everything ...

I invested into the launch - that's not just the membership launch coach - that includes copywriters that I chose to hire and those types of things.

This is the story of our 8-week new service launch.

For those of you who want to hear it was easy, it wasn't. If you want to hear it was all fun and exciting, it wasn't.  If you expect to hear we opened our cart and the subscribers flocked in, they didn't.  It has been 8 weeks of focus and hard work.  Of ups and downs.  BUT IT'S WORTH IT.

My husband Rick and I have a business, 180BIZ. We coach stressed-out, overworked, exhausted auto repair shop owners - teaching them how to make money while they get out of the shop and back into their lives.

About 2 months ago, we decided to launch a brand new subscription-based membership product.  I won't go into the reasons why we gave ourselves only 8 weeks of planning and execution (I don't recommend it) except to say there was a narrow window of opportunity and we jumped on it.

This particular membership retails at $799 per month.  We offer current client discounts and discounts for multi-seat subscriptions.

Our goal was to hit 55 subscribers in this first cohort. 

Hilda bought herself a brand new outfit and came out swinging.  Every day I heard, "No one is going to pay $800 per month to register an employee." "You'll be lucky if you get 15 advisors in the program." She discouraged me and whispered in my ear every minute of every day and one night I sat and had myself a good old-fashioned cry. Then I got up, dusted myself off, told Hilda to go to hell and got back to work.

I enrolled in Tamsen's membership launch.  It's been worth it's weight in gold.

Tamsen spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with me one day helping me work through the technical aspects of connecting each owner to the advisors they were registering and how to track the relationship after the fact.  She hopped on a zoom with me while she was at the playground with the boys one afternoon because I got stuck creating a zap.  Tamsen has sent me voice texts out of the blue just telling me she was thinking about us - cheering us on.  Building us up.  Telling me "You can do this!" and "#55!"

We just closed the cart with 53 Advisors registered in the program.  53 in our first mastermind group for a service we have never offered before. And we fought hard for every single sign-up.  Yes we fell short by TWO ADVISORS. But let's be honest.  Hilda had me convinced we would never even come close.  She had me believing we weren't just going to fall short - we were going to lose our shirts on this launch.

I'm posting this because YOU can do it too.  You can fight through the doubt and fear. There is no "easy button".  But it is so worth it.  You just need to decide to get off the sideline, pull the trigger and do the work. Rick and I are going to Africa the end of July.  First class the whole way.  And this launch is paying for it.  

We just added about $27,000 to our income monthly - it annualizes to over $300K.  We will end this year at over one million dollars. For the first time ever.  I am so humbled and so grateful.

It takes a village and, PBK, you are mine.

Hi, I'm Candyce and my husband, Phil,  and I just finished, well, we're coming up toward the end of our first MLKoach. I just want a highly recommend the value of doing this program. It's been really helpful for us to first of all think through our strategy.

We were launching an accelerator for members in our master class, a prospecting class focused on LinkedIn. 

MLK program accelerated the launch of our own accelerator program helping us think through the both the strategy on how did we want to go about getting people into the program and what was the program going to look like. Honestly, we actually modeled it after MLK because it gave us a really good sense of how to run something like this.

Tamsen helped us to plan how we were going to bring people into it, how we were going to communicate with them and it really accelerated our learning curve.

We probably would have figured a lot of this stuff out, but it would have been trial and error and it would have taken us a lot longer. I honestly don't think we would have been able to launch in July, like we did, if we weren't in MLK.

The other thing that I really appreciated was the feedback that we got both from Tamsen and from other people on how we were approaching things and seeing what other people were doing. There's one person in our group, Becca, who's like crazy well-organized and showed us her straight line sales process and what her North Pole to New York City (NP2NYC) looked like and that helped us kind of think about how we wanted to communicate with our prospects and our members.

I just can't speak highly enough for this experience and for all of the help that Tamsen has given us.

If you're trying to launch a membership and you want it to start producing revenue right away, I think its well worth it.

I don't know my exact numbers right now, but we generated somewhere in the neighborhood of $30,000 for our first launch. So it definitely paid off anyway.

I wanted to drop you a note and let you know how much I appreciate you. I know, I have not attended as much as the others in our meetings, however, I know you are there if I need you and I have the reassurance that I can go back and watch the replays.

This [MLKoach] was just the push and guidance I needed to set my sails and go.I feel I was ahead in some areas, especially in having my membership set up but also behind in having the audience to present it to. The latter seemed to take more time away than I anticipated as well as having my two events prepared.I don't believe I would have been so focused on having an entrance system in place if it had not been for being a part of this program. I definitely would feel very lost and still trying to figure out setting up membership if it was not for you and your awesome membership.

Though I didn't do every step suggested and needed to sidestep to have time to advertise and build relationships to bring people aboard, I know the important things got done and the rest will either get done or added next time. One of the things I definitely learned is in most cases, there is no wrong way of doing it.  Either there is a better, less time-consuming way or a way that best fits each person. That was a huge relief.In my experience in working with people there are -

• those who need you to hold their hand all the way until they can fly on their own, 
• those who think they know it all and don't listen then come crying because they thought they didn't need to and are not ready,
• those who come, learn and venture out and see what they can do with what they learned knowing if they need help, their guide is not too far away.

I have learned I am the last one. I started to feel a little guilty for that and struggled with thoughts of spending $3,000 to have you walk beside me and I didn't attend the lives as much as I thought I should have, but then I took a few steps back and realized all I learned and accomplished and the confidence I gained and that took all the guilt away.

I know in my heart, I would not have gained that without being in this program. Gaining new members in my membership is a bonus!
